Hi Muguy, thank you for your reply. Although I am not very computer savvy, you mentioned the term jailbreak for me I associate that with what I call a burner phone and I could be wrong. But if that is correct, that does not apply in my situation. My phone was purchased new from Verizon directly as we were under contract at that time. I probably should’ve given more backstory and it may have helped. November 2023 my HP laptop turned totally black and I lost all files and all the information. Gradually a friend of mine started to receive my files info, pictures, etc., and they were forwarded to me. The only thing that was left on my computer initially was simply the windows 10 program as I received the files back, simply put them back where they went for the most part. So this is basically what I would consider for whatever reason I’m not doing anything to cause something to be personal, I’ve been married almost 38 years happily so that’s not the issue I was not. The next day I received a pop-up on my phone stating that my computer had an issue and it was a Microsoft trip etc. etc. and they wanted to help me. Well in hindsight, that was the most dumbest thing ever done . Mainly I turned the entire laptop over to individual, but I had no clue who it was. I later learned there is a very well known Microsoft scam where it supposed to be a Microsoft service worker. I went for that simply because the same day that my computer went black , I was actually working on something in the Microsoft program. I had about six pop-ups as I had walked away and came back and I simply just tried to close them down. Apparently I did not close anything down. I open things up so that with the laptop that is connected to the laptop to speak And I noticed that all of a sudden I’m watching things disappear from my iPhone and I can’t do anything to stop it at all. I even tried to turn the phone off completely and it still continues apparently because once I powered it back up, it was like a new phone with nothing on there except for my name and that was about it , same situation through my friend who forwarded everything to me. Fast-forward just a little bit about Christmas time, I started noticing that I would write something and as I was about to hit send I would see words start to change, I would see apps disappeared, and then come back , I will see apps shifted around, I would receive emails to me from me using two of my email accounts.
