I have a new MacBook Air running macOS Sonoma 14.2.
I also have a valid Microsoft Office Home and Student 2021 with a product key.
I have to use Office for work as a teacher.
I have followed the installation prompts correctly.
But the moment I open Microsoft Word, the following dialog box appears.
"Licence Storage - Unable to connect to the licensing helper"
How do I fix this problem??

Update your Mac to current (macOS 14.4) and try again.
Failing that, for assistance with third-party apps including Microsoft Office 365 and Office 2021, contact the support organization for the app vendor; Microsoft. Office licensing is something that Microsoft Support gets to deal with.
Or for alternatives to Microsoft Office, install and use LibreOffice (free) which can read and write Office documents, or install and use Apple iWork Pages, Numbers, and Keynote (all free) which can read and write many Office documents.
