I cannot pair my remote control and not sure where to see if its working still after I changed a new Battery
I cannot pair my remote control ( Generation 1) even I turn on remote Login, allow all users.

Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy. Click the padlock at the lower left to unlock the panel and then click Advanced. Make sure the box for "Disable remote control infrared reciever" is unchecked.
You may also find a button there to "Pair" the remote.
