I have a MacBook pro 2017 with touchbar and touch ID, I recently formatted and did a clean install of MacOS Monterey and everything works fine. The problem now is that I can't seem to add a fingerprint to my login. Every time I try, I get a 'fingerprint limit reached' message even though there's no fingerprint showing in the menu. I updated to Ventura and the touch ID menu is no longer showing in settings side bar. Any solution for this problem ?
