I have a work iPhone, can I get passcode help with my personal iPhone?

I thought My work phone was asking for password and I entered my password many times when I come to realize it was asking for passcode which is the first time it ever done that , now I’m locked up for 3 hours and I’m not sure what my passcode is since it never asked for it. Now what?
