Apple scan our photo?
iPhone 13, iOS 17
Apple - No
Your Device - Yes
Your device will continually scan your photos to pick out faces, objects, explicit content, and more. This allows you to organize photos by the people in them as well as being able to ask Siri to show you pictures that contain a certain object. You are also able to identify different types of flowers or other objects in the picture. There is also a setting called Sensitive Content Warning that can be turned on to blur explicit images that would not be appropriate for children. Apple does not scan your photos but your device certainly does.

They reportedly do not. They could, with the default setting.
