“Call failed” Apple TV FaceTime

I have attempted multiple times to get FaceTime to work on my Apple TV. I have an iPhone 14 Pro and I am able to get it connected to continuity camera. After getting the continuity camera to connect, it shows a list of recent calls whenever I select one it loads for a little while the says “call failed”. Whenever I try to transfer FaceTime from my phone to Apple TV, it also does not work.

My Apple TV and phone are updated to the latest versions which is 17.4 is connected via ethernet so there should not be any connection problems.
