One apple id on multiple phones

We have 3 iphones, two pads, apple tv. I have been using the same apple id on all of them. Is this ok to do? I surmise that apple music subscription doesnt like this, but it is all between my wife and myself in our one house.

It is fine to have that setup. The problem with Apple Music is if you use it to stream to multiple devices signed into the same ID, it will only stream to one device at a time unless you have a family level subscription.

Ideally your wife should have her own Apple ID. Make sure that each family member has a unique Apple ID as suggested in this support article --> Make sure that each family member has a unique Apple ID - Apple Support This support article describes how to create a new, non-child Apple ID = create an Apple Account. --> How to create a new Apple ID - Apple Support
