Can apple replace the battery of my 1st gen IPad Pro 12.9?

I’ve had this iPad Pro for a long time and now I’m starting to notice it doesn't keep its battery life how it used to and am questioning if instead of just throwing it out and getting a new one if I can just go to an Apple Store and get the battery replaced? But now I’m not sure if apple stores would have batteries compatible with such an old ipad?

iPad Repair & Service - Apple Support gives an estimate of US$119 to have the battery replaced for your iPad model. Note that it is listed as iPad Pro 12.9 inch without reference to it being the 1st generation and that the next one released does have the label 2nd generation.
