Can't update or pair my Apple Watch

I have apple watch SE (paired with iphone 13) and it had been failing to update for a while. I didn't look into any troubleshooting at first, I just unpaired the watch and haven't been able to use it since. When I try to update, I always get a pop up saying the update failed with no further information.

Apple Watch Update Hi! I recently got an apple watch from my friend that he was using. Very exciting and all untill I tried to pair it with my iPhone. When I pair it it says it's in need of an update and when I press "Update" It says "Could Not Install Update" It does not give me a reason and I pressed "Try Again" a hundred times. The other option it gives it to start over. I tried that a couple of times too. I just can't get it to work. I reinstalled the watch app. Tried powering on and off. Resetted Network Settings. Can someone please help?

my apple watch series 2 wont update and its new. it hasnt besn paired with my phone yet I got a new Apple watch yesterday. I go to pair it with my phone and it says it needs to update first so I press update. It begins to update and then eventually says there is an error with installing the update the update. I have tried restarting my watch, my phone, I’ve tried installing the update multiple times. I have no idea how to fix it and I can’t use my watch until it is updated

Apple Watch wont update Recently just charged my Apple Watch after it being dead for a year or so, erased all content and paired to phone, needs an update but it just will not update, tried everything i could think of
