Can a webcam be attached to an iPhone?

I would like to use my iPhone for zoom but the view is poor on the recipients computer screen e.g. large black side bars. If turned horizontal it's a bit better but the camera is in the wrong place so looking at them on my screen looks very weird from their view. Is it possible to attach an external camera onto the iPhone so zooms will work better?

I've seen there are options on the 10th generation iPad but I really can't carry another thing around with me.

Front webcam with iPhone? My iPhone SE is running iOS v. 16.5.1(c). The new webcam feature of the iOS seems to work only with the camera on the back of the iPhone. That is a contrast to EpocCam. For several years now I have been using EpocCam as my webcam. EpocCam allows me to use either the front or back camera in the iPhone. I prefer to use the camera in the front of iPhone, because that is where all the controls are. Turning the iPhone over to use the back camera is not too big a deal, but it would be nice if I could maintain my habit. Is there a setting that would direct the webcam feature of iOS v. 16 to use the front camera?
