Downloading duplicate photo in whatsapp
Since after upgrading ios version 17.4, whatsapp is downloading each photos twice in gallay.

You are not alone, there have been several posts about this happening.
Contact WhatsApp and see if they have a fix, or wait for their update to come out that will fix this problem.
