Account Recovery is the slowest process to verify your identity. They will not just send you a reset link to an email address that you provide them unless it is your Apple ID, or send you a text message that you had not already set up as a Trusted Number. That would be irresponsible. Also the Support Article states that you should not attempt to continue to use the device as it may restart the recovery process.

As I explained before, no one here in this user-to-user forum can help you. You might want to try going into your local store to see if someone can help you in person. Try to be polite when you're there. I can tell from years of experience in retail, nice people get better service if they need something out of the ordinary.
