How do I migrate from Chromebook to MacBook Air?

I have a ChromeBook but, I want to move to Mac. Migration assistant doesn’t work, but this is for any Mac.

I can update the ChromeBook or restart it to move to my new Mac, and I even like Windows. How can I setup both devices?

A Chromebook isn't a computer in the typical sense. It's runs a version of the Chrome web browser as the user interface. Literally, everything you do is within a browser.

I believe you can save your documents (normally stored on Google's servers) out to a flash drive or other external source, but that's about it. You would need to save all of your personal documents (Word, Excel, photos, contacts, etc.) out separately, then manually copy them onto a Mac or Windows computer.

don't know anything about chromeOS but I would assume most of it is tired up to a gmail account

and their google drive

so if you were to add the gmail account to the mac and install the google drive app

then I would think you've migrated anything you will be able to

try
