Add USB Ports for a Mac mini M2 Pro

Honestly just need something reliable for additional printers and external hard drives nothing too intense.

Mac mini, macOS 14.2

If you look on Amazon, you'll find a lot of basic USB-A hubs that have four or more USB 3.0 ports, and that have USB-C plugs on the upstream cable that plugs into your computer. Take your pick.


I would strongly recommend one that has its own power supply. The guidelines from USB-A days about it being easy for bus-powered USB-A devices to "oversubscribe" the 5V power available to an unpowered hub still apply.
