Apple Watch S8 stuck in update screen cannot pair to iphome

my series 8 wanted an update I tried updating through watch and the phone nothing worked so I switched off the watch and unpaired from iPhone to pair again

but now it says I have to update the watch to watch os 10.4 to continue when I click update on the phone it says “ resume download when connected to

wifi” but I cannot access any setting or option in the watch it’s basically you usable anymore please help

Apple Watch OS Won't Update I am trying to update the WatchOS on my Apple Watch Series 3 from an iPhone 8 running iOS 16.0.3. The watch face looks like this: When I tap on the face it displays a message that says "Please continue setup on iPhone" On the iPhone, in the Apple Watch App, when I try to update the watch's OS it goes through downloading the software then I get one of several alternatives. It sometimes says the update was not successful because there is no internet connection. Sometimes it goes into a mode where it says it says "Preparing ...". I left it in the "Preparing..." state overnight and it is still showing that. I've tried suggestions I found in this community, such as unpairing the watch and phone and then re-pairing them. Some of the on-line suggestions include things to do on the watch, like removing some of the apps or going back to factory settings. I can't get to any of the screens on the watch for doing those things. Any suggestions for what to try next?

updating apple watch series 3 I have series 3 apple watch which keeps rebooting, i have just got new iphone 14 and i am trying to pair with phone. when pairing it says it needs to update watch to 8.7.1 however the watch will not stay on long enough tocomplete this update meaning i cannot set up watch i am completly stuck on how to fix this i have tried resetting phone and watch but nothing works. does anyone know how to fix this or is watch now rendered obsolete by this issue

Can not pair Apple Watch Series 3 on IOS 16 Hi all, My iphone XR is running IOS 16, I paired my watch(Series 3) but it can't upgrade to watchos 8.7.1 At preparing update step is very slow( > 1 hours) it not continue. Now, my apple watch has restored factory setting, I can not pair and use it :( How do i fix please!
