Unable to add IONOS Email account to iPhone XR

Question

I can't seem to add my ionos emails to my iphone despite following instructions on the ionos website.

I've updated the software on my XR to the latest.

I just keep getting a message saying the password is wrong but it isn't.

Setting Up an Email Account on Your iPhone/iPod/iPad

Tap on Settings.
Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendar.
Tap on Add account ...
Tap Others.
Tap Add mail account.
Enter your name in Name, your email address in E-mail and your password in Password. ...
Select the account type: POP3 or IMAP. ...
Enter the data of your email account.

Opt for IMAP whenever possible, and specify the exact stage at which you encounter challenges.
