1st HomePod and new MacBook Air. Cannot stream continuously from Mac to speaker.
This used to work, but now I can only listen briefly then the stream resorts to the MacBook Air speaker. All are configured in HomePod, fyi
MacBook Air, macOS 14.2
Go into the home app on your Mac and select the HomePod settings, scroll down to Restart or Reset > Restart. The HomePod should have a white swirling light as it’s restarting.
Restart your Mac also. See if this helps.
It can also be the wifi and you can try rebooting that as well
