Gifting music from iTunes

i enjoy iTunes. I recently purchased an album which I enjoy so much, I wish to give it to a friend. BUT iTunes notes that I have already purchased this item, and will not allow me to gift it. what now

How to gift a song from iTunes Store or Music if I already own the song I bought a song and like it, so I want to gift it to a friend. In both iTunes Store and Apple Music, I don't find any way to do this. Even Store just wants to play it. Is there an option somewhere to not play it for myself but to gift a copy to a friend? Seems like a pretty important use case.

Gifting a song from iTunes to a friend I used to be able to gift single songs to my friends and now I can't find the option to do so. I've read a couple of answers to a similar question, “How can I gift a song from iTunes to a friend?” The answers given state that gifting can only be done via laptop or PC not an iDevice. That may be true now, but in the past, I was able to gift single songs anytime I wanted.

Gifting Song in Apple Music Store If I already own the song, but want to gift another copy to a friend/family member, the music stores doesn’t have the share button available, just the “play” since I already own it. Is there a way to work around that?
