Find My is grayed out, the issue persisted at my local Apple location during my genius apt.
I’ve also noted that in order to fully reset my device, there’s a one hour delay.

I am not aware of any settings that can make Find My greyed out.

If you use a VPN, check its settings for any restrictions on location services.
