If I leave my email/computer for 30 minutes or so, and I come back to check my email, sometimes it can take up to 10 minutes for my email to open. Is there a setting I can adjust, or how can I change this?

Use the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck. In a Reply before you click post, look for this to add longer texts...
Also, you need to clarify whether the time is being taken to again OPEN the Mail app or is it taken just to access the mail server and then receive the emails?
