"Matched" iTunes Match songs won't play

I signed up for iTunes Match last month. I have thousands of songs, so I knew that I would have some issues. Right now I have over 3,000 songs that are listed as "matched" that have the "!" error and won't play. If I double click the song, it will tell me it cannot locate it, and then ask me if I would like to find the file. If I say yes it will bring up my computer's directory. I can then manually connect it back to the song and it will play. Sometimes, I cancel out and it will play the song even though I didn't rematch it manually. Other times, I cancel out and it will gray out and won't play. I then have to go find the original song file move it to iTunes and delete the greyed out entry. This process is ok if I had 100s of songs but after doing this for several days and only making it to letter c, I am tired. Is there a way I can fix this without having to match every single song? By the way, I have not moved any of the song files from my hard drive so please don't tell me that that's the problem.
