All of a sudden the "add contact" under the info tab is missing - usually if someone texts or calls me and I don't have their number in my contacts I used to be able to click on the phone number, click on the info button and say create new contact. Feature is completely gone now. I have updated and restarted my phone I have an iPhone 12Pro.
That feature is still there and exactly where you last saw it.
Is it possible that you have Screen Time Restrictions set to ON? Double Check as follows:
Open Settings ➔ Screen Time ➔ Content & Privacy Restrictions ➔ Contacts : Set this to ALLOW
