Apple Pay

Be advised. Apple Pay via Wallet on your iPhone is not as impregnable as published. I noticed 2 transactions on my wallet with a bank account. This wasn't me. I have contacted the bank who cancelled the card. I'm awaiting a response from the vendor/payment recipient. Ive informed Apple and suggested an email to all Apple account holders. Not sure if they will do that so here's my warning to you.

Your card information was obtained by one of several common methods and probably sold on the dark web. The information was then added to an Apple Wallet and fraudulent transactions were made with that information.

If what you’re proposing were true, these forums would have thousands if not tens of thousands of similar posts, not just yours. Your information is compromised, the issue begins and ends there.

Your bank has taken the proper steps by canceling the card and issuing new cards. If you want to learn more about protecting your accounts, your bank should have information available. I’m happy to post some links as well if you like.
