Battery Drain

My MacBook Air M2 is draining very fast even though my battery health is 97%. Also I use it most of the time for Reading and watching content. Also my MacBook is heating more than usual. Here are details about my battery.

New Mac Battery Drain Issue I purchased a new (not refurbished) Macbook Air M2 256gb/16gb 3 days ago. However, my battery has been draining rapidly (we're talking 100% to 10-15% in 3-3.5 hours) ever since I bought it. For the first 2 days I was just setting up the Mac and didn't even use Chrome for very long. I don't know if I should take it to the service center or wait for a few days to see if the battery stabilises. Has anyone else faced a similar issue? Any comments would be super helpful and greatly appreciated!

MBP M1 PRO BATTERY DRAINING REALLY FAST My macbook drained 81 % battery in just about 3 hrs while i was just reading slides and watching youtube after updating to ventura this is happening repeatedly!

Removed chrome_creashpad_handler from activity monitor. Should check the battery drain now and will be back to you later.

Run the third party app EtreCheck and post the complete report here so we can examine it for possible clues.
