iPhone 15 Pro Max getting only 6 hours of screen on time

iPhone 15 Pro Max 6 hours SoC

Is it normal for me to get around six hours screen on time before having to charge again. My phone is on IOS 17.4 and I don’t see any apps that could drain the battery that much. I have my Always On Display and Background App Refresh on only for certain apps. Thanks again!

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 17

How is your battery health? This should give you additional insight on the battery performance.

Background App Refresh is a huge contributor to battery loss specially when the apps you have enabled it on are always pushing updates.

Another is the mobile coverage - if you frequent an area that has poor mobile coverage, the device will continuously try to connect (and re-connect), which drains your batter faster.

Also, check Live Activities - do you have multiple apps that do this often (specially now that there are multiple sports happening)?

Good luck!
