How do I enable clamshell mode on my MacBook with macOS Sonoma?

How do I enable clamshell mode so my computer doesn't sleep when it's shut and connected to an external screen? This response seems outdated, I'm not finding this setting under System Settings > Displays > Advanced.

There is nothing to enable.

Your mac will work in clamshell mode when the lid is closed AND it is connected to an external display, keyboard and mouse. You just mentioned the display, I don't know if the input devices were implied.
