iPhone 15 overheating is there a solution ?

I just recently upgraded from 11 pro to a plain regular 15. I have had the new iPhone for 24hrs and it’s been getting so hot that it feels like it’s burning my hand. Never had this issue with my old phone. Has there been any resolution for this problem ? I’m beginning to regret this upgrade. Turning off location services as suggested in previously is not an option in my case. Anyone have advice?

Wanted to follow up. Ended going to the local Genius Bar. They ended up re-installing the phone’s software and then we setup the phone as brand new phone without imaging from previous phone. The plus side it seems to have worked. The down side, had to down load apps, photos, etc. from the cloud, re login to all apps and reconfigure Home Screen , etc. took me a while to get everything back but seems to have done the trick. They told me this is a known problem with some of the “restores from backups”. Fingers crossed its fixed!
