Suica Card Missing in Wallet

Hi Hazel- this exact thing happened to me today. I have searched through Google/reddit etc and can’t find a solution. Did you have any luck resolving this?

Hi AlBosto- for my son’s Suica card- it never reappeared and a few days later the money was returned to his bank. I called his bank and for some reason it doesn’t work on Suica cards. So we used a different bank card and the Suica card appeared straight away- phew!

I had this happen to me after Apple Devices bricked my phone, and I had to restore from a backup. A few things were missing from my Wallet. I found them under Add to Wallet -> Previous Cards

Unfortunately my son doesn’t have an Apple Watch (or any other apple devices) and was definitely logged in with his only Apple ID. Money has come out of his bank account, but the digital card is still missing :(

If you are wanting to add this card to Apple Pay / Wallet on your iPhone then that will depend on the Apple ID that you have logged in with.

For example, if you have Apple ID with India as a country then you will not be able to add the Suica Card to Apple Pay.

Instead you may try this:

1. Download the Mobile Suica app: Visit the App Store and download the Mobile Suica app onto your device.
2. Create a Mobile Suica account: Open the Mobile Suica app and create a new account by providing the required information, such as your name, email address, and payment details. You may need to register a credit card or use other payment methods to top up your Mobile Suica balance.
3. Add funds to your Mobile Suica account: Once your account is set up, you can add funds to your Mobile Suica account using various payment methods available within the app.
4. Use Mobile Suica for payments: With funds loaded onto your Mobile Suica account, you can use your smartphone to make payments at supported locations, including transportation gates, convenience stores, and other participating merchants.

Hi Sravan, I followed these instructions to perfectly, and money was taken out of my account and it worked on my phone, but did not work on my sons phone. His suica card is missing although he has paid for it

Hello, I was able to recover my Suica card by going to Setting-tap Add Card “+” > tap Previous Cards, select the card you want to add and tap Continue. Hope this helps
