Unfortunately that is not an option for the default calendar. You can provide feedback to Apple that you would like to see that feature added. Feedback - iPhone - Apple That does not mean it will be added, however this is the only way that Apple finds out about user thoughts. There are a number of other calendar apps in the App Store. One that I see mentioned on a regular basis here is Fantastical. Seems to be a very robust calendar application. Check it out.

A two-week alert for most events might be a bit excessive. While it shows a desire to stay organized, it can be impractical.

Ensuring you don't miss important events involves more than just setting a reminder. It's about strategically planning and breaking down tasks into manageable sub-tasks to maximize efficiency and minimize the risk of forgetting.

Firstly, setting an event alert two weeks prior to the scheduled date serves as an initial heads-up, offering ample time for preparation and organization. However, relying solely on this early alert might not effectively prevent oversight, as two weeks can pass quickly amidst daily responsibilities and distractions.

To refine this approach, consider breaking down the event preparation into smaller, actionable sub-tasks. These could include tasks such as making reservations, purchasing tickets, compiling necessary materials, or coordinating with others. By dispersing these tasks over the two-week period, you not only distribute the workload but also maintain a consistent awareness of the upcoming event.

Moreover, setting subsequent reminders closer to the event date - perhaps a day before or a week before - serves as reinforcement, prompting a focused review of completed tasks and any outstanding requirements. This approach capitalizes on the principle of spaced repetition, enhancing memory retention and ensuring that critical details aren't overlooked amidst other commitments.

By integrating these strategies, you transform event management from a single, static reminder into a dynamic and proactive process. Each reminder serves as a checkpoint, guiding you through the necessary steps and ultimately culminating in a well-prepared and memorable experience.

However, there is scope for Suggestions and Feedback for improvements --> Apple Inc says; "We read all feedback carefully, but we are unable to respond to each submission individually."
