Apple ID doesn't work on new iphone

I just bought an Iphone15. Everything transferred, but my apps are asking for me to login with my apple id. I have, but the email associated with it is not my apple id email. When I log in with that emails password, the account locks. So my apple id seems to be fine, but a different email is associated with the apple store? I'm not sure how to get my apps working on my new phone.

Do I delete and then reinstall? If so, will I lose all the data?

Some or all of the apps on your old iPhone were installed using that other Apple ID that you do not know. Did you purchase your old iPhone secondhand or was it given to you? Doesn’t matter now, because you will not be able to download those apps without the password of that unknown Apple ID.

The option that you have is to delete those apps that require the other Apple ID and download them using your Apple ID for the App Store. You may lose data on some of the apps, however, apps that require a username and password may be able to reinstate the data.
