iOS 17 Safari not blocking ads, popups

My iPhone 15 Pro Max IOS 17 Safari is Not blocking ads and pop ups. With each 17 update it hasn’t been addressed. My 14 Pro Max iOS 16 did a splendid job in blocking ads /pop-ups. Why isn’t anyone complaining? We all scroll the internet. It’s intrusively annoying having to “try” to delete the ads, but then pop-ups keep occurring while attempting to read an article or watch a vid. Frustrated since November 2023! Samsung is looking good now instead of the 16 Pro Max.

iOS Safari logs me out of Google, but only on my primary profile Hello, I have two profiles on Safari: the primary one created by default when you use the browser for the first time (which I turned into the personal one) and a secondary one I created manually (which is now my work profile). The primary one constantly (at least once a day) logs me out of Google, but only on my iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 18.2.1. I tried everything: turning off "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking", turning off Private Relay, turning off all my ads-block extensions, disabling the native content block, turning off developer mode, turning off "Block All Cookies"... To trigger it, I just need to close the Safari app on my iPhone, then reboot my iPhone. Sometimes it will need two reboots, but some other time it will log me out right after one reboot.

Solution: Safari very slow to open page via hyperlink iPhone 16 Pro. Since new, and across all iOS 18 updates Safari has been painfully slow, 15-20 seconds, opening a web page via a hyperlink. Changing the default browser to DuckDuckGo, Opera or chrome eliminated this issue so I knew it was a Safari issue. I finally found the Safari setting that is causing the issue. Under the Advanced settings, Privacy, turning off the Advanced Tracking and Fingerprinting Protection eliminated the concern. But what does this setting do? See attached screenshots. I hope that by disabling this feature I am not opening myself to site tracking. Any feedback would be appreciated. I hope this helps others.
