I am a gamer and I use my iPhone to screen record games but when I turn on screen recording my iPhone downgrade from 120 Hz to 60 Hz and makes the game look very laggy and choppy

Did it actually record at 60 FPS? Are you sure? Did you check the metadata using "i" ?
