My Epson printer constantly displays a message advising Firmware Update Available but when I use the Epson software updater to get to the firmware update option, it is not there. The update message stays on the printer.

They're not available on the weekend, plus I'm getting an error message:
"Epson Firmware Updater" can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. This software needs to be updated.
Can't the check by Apple be bypassed? The software is from Epson, so it's not malicious.
What did Epson support say when you talked to them. The issues you describe are not Apple issues but the responsibility if the printer maker.
