Should I replace my iPhone Pro Max battery if it is on 77%?

I have a 12 Pro Max. The battery is at 77% maximum capacity.

I’m hoping to get it replaced at an Apple Store soon, but is my phone too old now?

If not, is there a point when my phone is considered too old for Apple to replace it?

The Apple Store can handle the battery replacement for you, but you will likely receive much faster service (without having to make an appointment) if you take the phone to an authorized Apple repair shop.

Good idea to call ahead to make sure they have the replacement battery in stock. About $90 (U.S.)

You can find a list of authorized service shops in your area using this link: Find Locations

Generally, a phone starts being "too old" in the 7-8 year old range, so a battery replacement would make a lot of sense at this point. The phone should be good for another 3-4 years.
