Why is my Sleep option in Apple menu faded

The Sleep option in my Apple menu is faded. It was faded a while ago, but changed to selectable, however it's gone back to faded. Can someone please help me? Thank you!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Thank you! I found a link about it (https://www.howtoisolve.com/sleep-option-grayed-out-on-mac/) and this worked!:

Solution 2: Fix Using Powermanagment Terminal Command

Might be your Mac was prevented from Sleep due to the Wrong power management settings. Reset it and Allow it to Sleep using the Below terminal command. Works on Both m1 and Intel Mac.

1→ Open Terminal app on Mac. [Go to finder > Applications > utilities > Terminal].

2→ Type the command:

sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.PowerManagement SystemPowerSettings -dict SleepDisabled -bool NO

Does seem odd—

To trouble shoot further you can:

—A SafeBoot Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies

Does a quick disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled.

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.

This test will tell you if third party interference; most extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

—Test issue in another user (or guest user) account Change Users & Groups settings on Mac - Apple Support

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.

unplug all non-essential peripherals when testing

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus

all known to cause issues on the macOS
