I backed up my old phone on iTunes will the back up stays store in my computer forever?

When you back up your iPhone using iTunes on your computer, the backup file is stored on your computer's hard drive. Unless you intentionally delete the backup file or uninstall iTunes (which may remove associated backup files), the backup will typically remain on your computer indefinitely.
However, be careful since if you back up your iPhone again using iTunes, it may overwrite the previous backup unless you have configured iTunes to keep multiple backups.
