You don't actually need to take a separate picture of the business card with your iPhone 15 Pro Max. The built-in Camera app has a document scanning feature that can extract information from business cards. Here's how to use it:
- Open the stock Camera app on your iPhone.
- Hold your iPhone over the business card, making sure it's well-lit and in clear focus. You might see a yellow rectangular outline appear around the business card.
- If the automatic scanner doesn't activate, look for a scan icon in the bottom right corner of your screen. It might look like a rectangle with angled corners. Tap that icon.
- Your iPhone will try to recognize the text on the business card and highlight it in yellow.
- Tap a highlighted phone number, email address, or website to perform an action like calling, sending an email, or opening the link.
- To save the contact information, tap and hold on a highlighted detail (like a phone number).
- Choose Add to Contacts.
- Tap Create New Contact and fill in any additional information you want to save, then tap Done.
This way, you can quickly scan and save business card information to your iPhone's Contacts app without needing to download additional apps.

If you have taken a pic of the Contact's Business Card you can assign the photo to the Contact's Profile Pic.
