Lost all saved psd edit history after software update to Sonoma 14.2.1

After updating to Sonoma 14.2.1 I've lost all my photoshop edit history on my psd files when I go back into re edit them in photoshop. How can I recover them?

iMac 27″, macOS 14.2

Edit history is contained inside each PSD file; upgrading macOS would not have changed the contents of any PSD file.

You may need to upgrade your copy of Photoshop. On Sonoma you need Photoshop 24.7.1 or 25.0.
