AppleCare+ must be purchased within 60-days of initial purchase/device activation - and certainly before damage occurs. Eligibility to purchase can be established from iPad Settings.


If your device is eligible, you should see the AppleCare option visible in iPad settings - this usually appearing just below your Name / AppleID.


If not seen in Settings, you may see the option to purchase AppleCare here:

Settings > General > About > Coverage


You can also purchase AppleCare for your iPad directly from Apple’s website:
