Why doesn't forwarding work in Mail.app rules?

There's not much to set up, so I don't see what I could be getting wrong.

The message is getting purple-flagged, so I know the rule is running.

I don't see the forwarded messages in my sent box, and adding another email address of mine as a test, I never actually receive that email, so it seems that forwarding in Mail.app just doesn't work.


Any advice or thoughts?

Even if the rule is being triggered as intended -- which it apparently is, since the flagging is being performed -- I don't think the forwarded messages would end up in the forwarding mail account's Sent mailbox. It doesn't seem to work that way AFAICT.


A guess might be that the missing action, the actual forwarding, is being blocked by your service provider or filtered as spam.
