CarPlay won't allow me to listen to radio or Sirius

If I'm in Apple CarPlay in my vehicle, I cannot switch to radio or Sirius and hear sound. It works for one second then stops. If I return to CarPlay to stream music (through Amazon) it works without any problems. But to use CarPlay and FM radio or Sirius, no sound. I have to turn off CarPlay in order for the radio/sirius to work. Software is up to date on iPhone and through Uconnect (RAM).

CarPlay connection turns my car radio off Every time I get in my car and my phone connects to CarPlay, it turns off the car radio (ie the radio station I was listening to stops playing - the car media screen is still on). There's no media playing on my phone. How can I get CarPlay to connect (so I can use my phone's maps), but leave the car's radio playing? I can just switch back to the car's menu and turn the radio back on, but I don't want the radio to be turned off in the first place. Any ideas? Is there a way to successfully sync my SiriusXM app with CarPlay? I purchased a Mazda CX-30, and no way to send the SiriusXM signal to the receiver my only option is CarPlay, I can't change SiriusXM channels from steering column Is there a way to successfully sync my SiriusXM app with CarPlay? I have to wait until I get to a stoplight to change channels in my SiriusXM favorites. Has anyone been able to resolve this issue? The Mazda Connect and dealership place the load of this limitation onto Apple.

My Carplay Multi-Media has stopped working!! My carplay Multi-Media has stopped working! Why has Apple (some update) ruined my iPhone’s ability to play Apple Music through my 2011 Venza’s radio system? It was working just fine until recently. I have an iPhone Pro Max. The car shows that it is playing but NO SOUND comes out?! It also shows it is playing on the iPhone and there is no sound there, either.
