Bootable flash drive no longer appearing in recovery M1

I recently used my flash drive to make an bootable installer for 11.7.10, which went successfully and I installed it onto my Mac fine, but now I have found the application for 11.0 and used installmedia to make a bootable drive again on the flash drive (after it was wiped), but this time it isn't showing up in recovery

You will not see a bootable macOS USB installer within the Startup Disk System Settings although you should see it on the Options screen if the USB installer was created successfully.

Are you sure the "createinstallmedia" command complete successfully without any errors? And can the contents of this USB stick be viewed within the Finder?

What is the exact model of this Mac? You can get this information by clicking the Apple menu and selecting "About This Mac". If the M1 Mac model was first released any time after Big Sur was released, then it will require a newer point release of the Big Sur installer.

Why worry about a 11.0 release? It will have release day bugs in it that were later patched several updates later.

yes the createinstallmedia command was successful without any error, I redid it twice and then tried with 11.1, which also failed, yet it was visible in finder, it's an M1 MacBook Air, 2020, It was released sometime during MacOS 12 because I had to DFU restore it once and it couldn't restore to any iPSWS for MacOS 12 past April, and the reason I'm trying to go to 11.0 is because I generally prefer to be on the release firmware of a device, or a very early one, regardless of the bugs, and by recovery I meant the boot options, sorry for the confusion.
