Optimize Battery Charging on MacBook Pro 14 inches

I was confused with the battery option. Wherein, I used the "optimize battery charging" while my MacBook Pro M3 laptop was plugged-on. Expecting that it might hold the running limit until 80% and it will continued on the next morning upon turned-off the said option and start to completing the 100% charging before to leave. Unfortunately, I have experienced that this standard didn't effect during I used the said option. It doesn't hold the 80% charging limit but still continued until completed the 100% while the "optimize battery charging" option is turned-on.

I would leave the option checked for optimize. That's it, use it as you see fit—let the software work for you.

If you click the "charge to full now" it can take weeks for it to come back around to 80%. the software learns from your usage pattern.

You do not have to micro-manage battery charging.

The rule of thumb—if you are near the mains leave it plugged in, if you need the portability then run on the battery only—this is how you help optimize your battery charging and extend the working life of your battery by reducing the cycle count.
