Hi! We got my son an Apple Watch on its own cell line to use "like a phone" to call us in an emergency. At the time, he didn't have a phone connected to that line, but now we'd like to get him one.
Can I add an iPhone to that same Apple Watch cell line we've already got (so the phone and the watch have the same number) or do I have to get a separate line for the phone?

In that circumstance the phone and the watch must be the same cell provider, so talk with the watch cell provider how they can port that number to a phone + watch plan
