Can't power on Apple Vision Pro with top button

I can't turn on Apple Vision Pro by pressing the top button regardless of how long I hold it or how many times I try. The battery pack is fully charged and connected properly. The only way for me to power on the device is to detach the battery pack and reconnect it. How do I fix this?

This happens to me after sw power off while leaving power connector attached (and did not occurr before update to 1.1). Occasionally, after many trials with top button, Vision starts. Disconnecting and connecting the power connector initiates the start "normally". Not optimal, IMHO :)
