Audio and video settings and chat are not working after the Sonoma 14.4 upgrade. You cannot click the menu items, nor click into the chat window. Anyone else experiencing this?

I use Zoom several times a week with the latest version of Sonoma without issue. Have you tried creating a new user account and seeing if it works that way? It's a diagnostic step, not intended as a workaround.

Why did you disable system security, and install the creepy "cleanmymac"?!!!!

This horrible piece of garbage is justifiedly known around here as "brickmymac".
You should completely uninstall this thing, and hope that it has not messed your setup to a point where a clean install may be required.
Delete Zoom and then go to the website and download it again. It has been an ongoing problem that the application won't update.

Well, most security professionals believe that CleanMyMac is malware. And pretty much all professional developers believe it doesn’t do anything useful except interfere with the built in computer management features of Mac OS, as well as slowing down your computer.

Like others, I regularly use Zoom in 14.4 and no issues at all.
There is probably something in your system that is blocking it (maybe an "antivirus"?), hence the report may helps us help you.
No, a user account on the Mac. I don't think creating a new Zoom account would have any effect on the problems you mentioned.
Other than seeing if it works when you Safe Boot, I don't have any other great suggestions. Have you looked at any of Zoom's support?
I appreciate your suggestions. A new Mac user and Safe boot didn't work. Zoom's support not so useful. They suggested setting Zoom account to "factory settings." Didn't work. I will wait it out, use Google Meet and eventually it will get sorted.

I am a professionally licensed Zoom host; I have 2 Zoom accounts and have had no problems with either account, 14.4 also. I have version 5.17.11 of Zoom.
There are several things from the makers of cleanmymac - none of them I'd trust...
That includes setapp, which gets a lot of control over your mac, and is marketed rather aggressively on several online places... I'd be wary of all that.
That didn't worked. I have also tried restoring an earlier version of Zoom from Time Machine, and even reinstalling the OS. Nothing has worked.
A new user account on my Mac or Zoom? If the former, yes, but same issues. I haven't tried creating a new Zoom account. Should I try that?
I'm sorry I don't have anything better to suggest. My feeling is that there is something amiss with your system but I really don't know what it would be.
