Hi,
What program are you referring to? You have not indicated your MacOS but if you are using the latest you can’t install iTunes. This was replaced by the Music app and you use finder to sync your other devices. Use the Finder to sync your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with your Mac – Apple Support (UK)
