FaceTime function does not record sound on MacBook Air

New to making movies and wanted to make one with iMovie I saw you could import video using the FaceTime function which would record on the MacBook

When I hit record, it is only recording video and not sound

I don’t see a way to adjust this, so I can record the audio when. recording via FaceTime on Mac

I wonder if I clicked the wrong button to not allow sound recording when initially logged in appreciate any help
