I want to add a title before my first clip, how do I do this?

Drag a title from the title pane and insert it in front of your first clip.

Or, drag a background clip and insert it in front of your first clip in the timeline, and then insert a title on top of the

background clip.

Or, drag a title from the title pane and insert it above the first clip in the timeline.
